What is the best program for recovering data from a formatted hard drive? Thanks in advance!!!
Try Best OpenSource App, TestDisk (www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk) .

we can't say there is a perfect program to recover your data in all state's , cuz there is many kind of format and many way for data lost , im use some program called final data and it is works , but it fail with my friend pc when he use nortn ghost , so if you looking for the best you must try hardware , just like iram from gigabyte

We can recover data in case of quick or accidentally formatted drive. If drive is reformatted then we can not able to recover data from it since the data is overwritten.I have used a Stellar Phoenix data recovery (http://www.stellarinfo.com/) software to recover my data. This software demo is free through which scans your drive for recoverable data and you will able to see the preview of recoverable data.
