I'm ordering a new PC on the 25th July but I want to know which operating system will work with the specs.

Here are my specs:

I'm pretty sure windows XP doesnt run quad's yet. Am I right. Okay - fair enough if it doesnt, i'll have to go to vista. If this is the case, where can I buy the cheapest version of vista from ?

XP does run quad's, but isn't optimized for them. It's a matter of personal choise, but I'll go Vista if I were you. You'll run bouth well enough though.

I've got an unopened retail copy of 32-bit Vista Ultimate that I'm not using any time soon...

Do you mean that if I use vista, the quads will get more use...EG - Peform better

Lol, I wouldn't mention it if I didn't want to sell it. Shipping a disc to the UK ain't so bad. Just find out how much you can buy it off whatever site, and I'll get it to ya cheaper than that.

Well - I wouldnt be buying it until the end of July for a start. I havent a clue where to look at the moment. I'll have a quick scan of ebuyer.
