Hello I am going to build a new gaming pc and would hope to get some good feedback on people who have used same hardware config, and if I could do beter using other cpu ect. first off i'm looking to go no higher than 3100.00 the motherboard I really want to use the xfx's 790i with OCZ3P16004GK 2x2 gb memory, ZALMAN ZM1000-HP Continuous 1000W ATX12V V2.2 / EPS12V V2.91 Modular Heatpipe-Cooled SLI Power Supply, here is where i'm in need of suggestion's thought about using the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz cpu dont see spending the extra cash for the E8500 3.1ghz buty am willing to spend a little more if the quad cores are better, was thinking of a pair of XFX PVT98FYDBU GeForce 9800 GTX Black Edition 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card in sli mode for the graphics, and a
ASUS MK241H Black 24" 2ms HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor with 1.3M Pixel Webcam 450 cd/m2 DC 3000:1 Built in Speakers for the display also want to know i want to use vista ultimate 64 bit so if i buy the full retail i should get both i think, already have a zalman fatality case as well as the fatality fps soundcard from my last build also plan on 2 raptor 10000 rpm either the 74gb or the 150 havn't made mind up, hope this build looks good to go as far as compatibilty as well as through my side window, all my hardware will have a 1 year extended warranty, and haven't thoght about water cooling it. well can tis setup work?
