What should i upgrade to? 2Gb or 3gb? Can i get 3gb RAM Dual-Channel?

3GB would obviously be the best to get, and to run 3GB in dual channel you need to get 2 1GB sticks and 2 512MB sticks.

That technically would be true, but since he is running DDR400 PC 3200 already, I am not sure his board can handle faster ram, so he just needs more of it as it is.

Seeing as how you already have 1GB in there (I am going to guess just a single 1GB stick, or 2 512 MB sticks?) you would either need just 1 more 1GB stick and 2 512 MB sticks or 2 1GB sticks depending on what you are using now.
