Can I oc any higher? please help

1st uninstalled Nvidia drivers and installed some old omegad rivers
2nd I found and installed this cool program called RivaTune that lets me oc my card

3rd I added an old Amd-k6 cpu fan onto my video cards Heatsink

4th kept Ocing little by little by little and ended up doing MAx on both my GPU clock and memory clocl here is a pick of how it ended up.(100% stable)


Overall i gained about a 30% increas in performance on my Pc really nice i think :-) anywho if anyone know how i can do better or if i screwd up on something let me know

Ps: if any of you know how i can increas the max clock on Rivatunner i would grately apreciate it

i want to take my GPU and memory even HIGHER!

well you might want to run atitool scan to see if its stable cuz how did you find out if it was stable ?

You may not want to just max out the speeds on the card, easy way to kill it. Use ATI Tool and let it find the maximum stable speeds.

Wow that card is old, I think 30% is pretty good for a card like that, but I couldn't say for sure, don't know too much about it. Older cards like that could sometimes benefit from bios flashes to unlock more pipes, but it depends and I don't know. See what google turns up.

dude go buy an agp card for 10$ i bet you 10$ its better than the MX440, last i used one of those was about 5 years ago i think....

although it is interesting to look at the steam/source stats and see that there is alot of people happily running source in DX7 with an MX series card :)

well guys first of all i live in mexico so icant just go out and buy a card .well ican but they dont cost 10 bucks here not sides i dont think it be easy finding a AGP 4x mobo dont suppoert 8x taking that out of note .

i have 4 other pcs 2 of wich are decent the other 2 are well... old skool so instead of spending money out of them iwant to OC and update and get as much as i can out of them get me ?

so help me out here guys i want to OC da living CRap out of these pcs

PS:as a printer server i use an old 233mhz AMD !!!( its amazing what a cuple sticks of ram can do to an old dinasour )

DANg guys whe i hit properties on AtITool 0.26 it crashes actually when i hti any of those buttons onthe top Save , load , new , delete if i click on any of those the prgram crashes any Idea why? i can click on settings just fine

With a 30% overclock you could play WoW on low! :D
I hope this isn't your best card. I found one of these in my food cupboard when I was moving (Obviously it confused me a bit) similar model, different brand XD (PNY)

on Atitool i clicked on Find max memory and its been 40 min is it supposed to take this long ?

is an FX5200 better then a MX440?

yes it is lol i remember my Geforce MX440 use to play AOE2 on it, and god Doom 3 is playable, man look on ebay find a geforce 6-7 or even a 5

PS: after playing with ati tool and riva tuner for a while i was able to OC my card to

core: 392mhz

and memory to 540mhz

stable ...ATI tested :-)
