I've been offered a brand new ASUS P5N-D by a retailer/friend for a nice ($120) price. Is it worth it? I was thinking of picking up a board for my B3 Q6600 that's been lying around, waiting for me to sell it off. Not getting reasonable offers from buyers.

Is this board any good? NForce 750i SLI. How does it OC? It comes with a detachable NB fan and a big heatsink, indicating this 750i isn't a cool operator.

Deal: buy it. No deal: Reject, sell the Q6600 at a throw-away price.

That board looks ok to me,seems a better option than selling the Q for what maybe a loss.

I've read reviews and found some people complaining about heating problems,

Its a nice board with low price, supports 45nm cpu, has SLI, DDRII support and has nVidia chipset, buying it may not be a bad choice if you dont want to throw your Quady...

I would suggest a Biostar TP45 HP if you want a board in that range ... just my two cents (in USD :D)
