How can i enable the Physix feature in UT3 if my installation of the driver and the physix software is successful? I heard that i have to extract the physix files into the games folder. how does it actually work????

It only really helps if you have the 8800gs just running PhysX(PPU), and another card running the GPU part. You will gain a frame or two at most, if you are just using it on one card as PPU+GPU.

they work for both 8800GT and 8800GTS, pretty sure Ultra. not sure about 8800GS or 9600GT. some people whine they can't get them to work but they are mostly idiots lol. your not supposed to gain or lose any frames if you run the GRAW Demo I think it comes with a Ageia PhysX Driver if you enable it and don't have Ageia card your frames will drop significantly but you get the eye candy, what PhysX CUDA does is compensate so you will get the eye candy at the usual frame rate or atleast the goal.
you can probably find a thread on VR-Zone or Guru3D.

Always use the latest drivers. Ignore if its WHQL or not, as it doesn't matter.

it doesnt work on all 8800GT. i had to go to a LOT of effort to even get the PhysX betas to install, and after that i still dont get it recognised in the physx application. it may vary, as i know there are a few revisions of 8800GT (example: some SPDIF input for audio over HDMI, older ones dont)

From what I understood it doesn't work on G80's, so only GTS512 and no Ultra.

simplest way, 512/1024MB cards have a chance of working, no others.

My system is apart but comming back together. I just installed the latest Nvidia driver off their site wich I think is 75.19 for my 2x 8800GT's (only one installed at the moment). I have an Agiea stand alone Physx card but I thought I would not need to reinstall it due to my video cards being able handle the physx calculations from what I have read. I have not been in touch with progress on this issue latley. Should I use my physx card or can my dual 8800GT's handle the load on there own? I have not installed any games yet to test one way or another. I thought I should get up to speed first.

the official drivers dont do it. only modded betas. IF it works on your cards, it would be faster than the physx card, in my opinion.

PhysX doesn't work on the 8800GS. It is a G92 GPU, which is supposed to work with PhysX, but for some reason the 8800GS does not work. The drivers install, but the option to enable GeForce PhysX isn't available. Probably something in the PhysX drivers that limits what cards it works with.
