Should i get a 2nd GTX280?

Should i get a 2nd GTX 280 or will i be in time for a GT200b from EVGA stepup and is it worth it?, or should i wait for a R700 will 2 GTX280 be on level with a R700? Price dosn't matter much as long as it under $700AUS

I would wait for the next gen or die shrink from nvidia. You could switch for an R700 but youll be stuck there. If i were you, i would stay like this and try to upgrade my monitor to an 30¨ and then upgrade to play at 2560 1600.

Couse youll se a difference(big) only at high res. I wouldnt buy a second one if i didnt had a 30¨ Thats just my opinion.

EDIT: Unless you play Crysis at Verry High you could crank it up to 1900 1200 with almost all games with just one GTX280. Thats why i would upgrade to a 30¨ first and just after buy another 280 or...... R700 or..

i was looking at a 24'' will i get a performance jump then, is this only if i get a 2nd 280

it would not be advisable, as benchmarks are showing the R700 superior to 2x GTX280's in most cases and it will be costing the same as a single gtx280

SLi 280 will out run 1 280b card.

Same card, only smaller.

any date on the 280b card because ill step up to one if i can and get one more in a few more months so ill hava a 2x280b im guessing the will be called some think like ultra 280
