I have an ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe (754) motherboard, It only contains 3 slots for memory unluckly when I purchessed it I was unaware it didnt support dual channel!:banghead:
I have been running 2 512MB DDR memory sticks and I have one slot avaible for extra Ram. If I install a 1GB Kingston 3200 DDR in the slot will my system bottle neck?
I am running a Sempron 3000+ 1.8Ghz :nutkick:
Here is my Motherboard::rockout:

S754 doesn't have dual channel. The memory controller for all S754 chips are single channel :) Not ASUS' fault for that.
For your NB cooler trouble, I'd recommend just picking up a new NB cooler. They're generally not too much money and seeing where the chipset is, you might just be able to get a passive heatsink.
For your memory, you should be able to do that. I don't think it'll default to 2T, but you might want to check into that.

hmmm so my system wont bottle neck if I buy A 1 GB of memory? even if I am running two 512Mb memory or should I buy another stick of 512Mb? Which would be better for my system? 2 512 MB AND 1 GB of Memory @ 2Gb or will it perform better with 3 sticks of 512 mb @ 1.5Gb :wtf:
(note I dont want any system bottle necking to occur)
Oh yeah I just overclocked my Sempront o 2.0 ghz 900 FSB!

Sempron 3000...1.8ghz 128k L2 if I remember right.
anyway, as for bottle neck? no, that won't be a worry.
What do you do on the computer? Sure you need 2gigs of RAM?

Well I was thinking of Upgrading my video card down the road from now; and I play games such as fear and recently after installing some additional programs the game has been slowing down so bad.... I checked what was happening in task manager and apparenty alot of my programs that I have installed are using alot of memory...
My Set up:
Sempron 3000+ @2.0ghz
Asus K8N4-E Deluxe
1GB DDR 3200 Ram
200 GB IDE 133 HD
HIS X700 256mb DDR1 (I HATE THIS CARD!)
300 watt PSU (AHHH IT REALLY SUCKS)
I was thinking of upgrading to the X1600 xt or Geforce 7800 GT OC

The X1600XT performs about as well as a 6600GT, while not a bad card, there's better cards for the money. The X800GTO is pretty nice if you want to upgrade now. If you were to upgrade your video card, you'll need to get a new PSU as well. :) Fortron has some pretty nice models
But yeah, sounds like a good idea to up your RAM to 2gigs.

Thank you so much... I was taking a look at the Sapphire X800 GTO Fireblade... Its a good card for the money...$275 Canadian as the 6800 GT is $375 Canadian and the Geforce 7800 IS $475 Canadian but I need to upgrade my My PSU, and Memory first and this can get really expensive in the end.....

Yep the Fireblade is very nice card from what I've heard. Also you may want to look into the connect3D X800GTO. It doesn't have the nice cooler, but does costs about 25USD less. Another option would be the HIS X800GTO Turbo edition, comes preoverclocked 500/500 :)
