Greetings,

I found a old computer case I was thinking of modding abit. It's old..so old in fact that I have to cut the back out to make room for standard motherboards. I"ll show a couple of pics to show what I mean. My question is is it worth it?

Wow, that is a tuffy to think about. If you can cut the back out with keeping the PCI bracket system in place then I'd say do so.. I would all ways keep the bracket system because of the fact you have the cards in a upright position. Without it, your cards just go down, and it could possibly just bend and break off...

The bracket part can be removed..however something I hadn't thought about till now is that would a motherboard be able to be mounted inside?

Well, here is one thing to look at.. The Micro ATX boards holes do line up with a regular ATX board... the back pins... You could measure the holes, and see if they line up for you... You don't have to screw in all the screw for the motherboard, just enough that would allow it not to move around on you.
