Heya all, Im looking to upgrade the GPU and add a Cooler to my E8400 so I can finnally OC it. What do you think about this:
GPU: EVGA 9800GTX+ (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130376) @199$ replacing my 9600GT
Cooling: ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118019) @54$ + Artic Silver 5 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100007) @6$ replacing my Stock Cooling (lol)
Thx a lot for the advices :D

If I were you I would go with the Xigmatek S1283 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233003 and Arctic Cooling MX-2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186020. That GPU is very good. It is on par with the 4850, but with your board you wil have the option to SLI in the future.

I am not completly sure but if you removed that side air duct i dont see why it wouldn't. If you dont think the Xigamtek wil fit the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134 is also a very good cooler. If you do go with the xigmatek, though, make sure you get the retention bracket. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233019
