Hey all... did post a thread sometime bk abt set up for a new pc and would like to get uer opinions one last time before i get the PC. Just want to know does the set up has to be good for one to be able to play Call Of Duty SMOOTHLY? Hope u can recommend some good Graphics Cards... M looking at getting a Core 2 Duo E8400 as most of the guys mentioned tht Core 2 Quad is not a necessity. 4 gig ram... Does the motherboard make a difference for gaming? Thanks guys for uer time....

Anything above a 8800GTS 320mb can play cod4 smoothly 1680x1050 max settings so I would go with a 4870 if I was you and the mobo is important if you plan to go crossfire and sli.

4850 - probably the best bang for buck card out there.

I would too - and it does do a good job at doing what you want it to.
To the OP - what is your budget?
