Hi folks!
I have a powercolor x850 pro and I want to flash it so I can open the 4 extra pipelines so I get 16 pipelines. By the way it is PCI-Express.
My card have a vga and dvi output but the powercolor xt and xt pe have dual dvi.
So I wondered if there where somebody else who had tried to flash their powercolor x850 pro succesfully?

Conduct fuse research first. How: http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=5367

You have to know that chance to have 16 pipes on PCIX is almost 0%. But first let see the fuses :) .

The fuses shows that your R480 has "hardware protection" of one quad or only 12 pipes are allowed. Of the information that I have it means laser-cut/s but on the back side of the core. It is not possible to reconnect it :shadedshu unfortunately.

There is also a lasercut on the gpu substrate.
