Hi, there are a way to mod an x800 to a x800xl? The x800 have a r430 (like the x800xl). If i use a x800xl bios it will workż?
Thank you :toast:

You won't get any extra pipelines I already tried it.

The Club3D x800xl Samsung 2.0 Bios would be ideal. I'm not sure what'd happen with the pipes tho. You could try using a modified flashrom to get the last quad. Do you think that'd work Thermopylae_480?
Hope i said something useful!

I'm pretty sure they have been laser cut. What would need modified and what program would I use? RaBit doesn't have an option to change pipelines. I would be willing to try your idea anyway though.

Damn, the lazer cut might be a problem! Can you resoldier the track, or are there other components missing as well?
Umm, ignor what i said earlier about the 'modified flashrom', i saw something in an article somewhere and might have read it wrong.
There's a conductive compound you could use to reconnect the lazer cut. You apply it with a matchstick or something very fine. The great thing is, it's not permenant, so if it doesn't work, it just scrapes off, and doesn't mark the pcb either. I'll see if i can remember what it's called, but i think it'd do the job fine if there's no resistors or capacitors absent from the pcb.
After reconnecting the lazer cut, i suppose you could just flash a 16 pipe bios and it should work...
I've never seen this done tho, so it's all theory.
