ICS952505 FSB 289Mhz Limit?

OK trying to overclock my Asrock Dual939SATA2 board but it seems that SysTool will not let the FSB go over 289? any reason for this?

you probably use the stock bios.. read my review on that board, the overclocking section

It was stated on "ocworkbench" forum that even the ocwb bios still will not allow higher FSB in the systool, but the bios you can still get higher. I guess i can try this for my self to make sure.

following the biosses
for my xp3000+
1.20 __ well detected but 284 mhz max (i think 1.41c too)
with ocw beta3 __ detected always with half the real speed (when i set 270 in bios, systool report 135) but works until 303 mhz (i input 151.5 mhz in systool) . System hangs or crash above (must disconnect power supply for rebooting when crashed).

for me it's genial, this tool allow me to run +/-2550 (8.5*300). ram at 200mhz:toast: :toast: :toast:

ocwbeta 2 w/systool gave me a hard crash for some reason (requireing unplug of PSU) I'll try ocwbeta3.

Is there a way to set startup values with this tool? for example, i wanted to to load 300x9 with 133Mhz ram every time i load windows?

i have the same crash as you when i go over 303 mhz... but nothing exploded, just unplug replug. don't know if it's possible to load configuration at startup. don't think so. maybe in the next release
