Hey everyone.

I've used ATI Tool for a while now. When I hit "Scan for artifacts", the temperature used to instantly go up.

All of the sudden, the test runs, but my temps stay where they would be if the card was running idle. At first, I thought it was the temp sensor gone bad, but then I realized any other 3D application raises the temp as normal.

I was using beta 9, uninstalled it, then installed beta 10 hoping it would fix it... but it didn't.

Any ideas??

Anyone? I'd really like to see what this card can do.

check if this also happens in games and with other monitoring apps. maybe your "read temperature every xy seconds" is way high?

It's not. Like I said, I've used ATI Tool for a while now. I leave it open alongside ATI Tray Tools, and both reported temps the same.

Neither go up while the artifact tester is running. If I open another 3D app, temps displayed in both programs immediately start climbing. It's as if ATI Tool is not making the card generate any heat. It is very odd indeed, and I cannot figure out what triggered it.

It's disabled. Still no temp change.
