athlon 2.8 barton upgrade??

I was thinking of upgrading my athlon 2.8 barton to a 3.2 barton. This is the maximum my mainboard will take (a7n8x) . I just wanted to know how much performance increase i would gain. As it's not a huge jump is it worth it???:rolleyes:

Dont get a 3200, they are VERY overpriced.

The Athlon XP mobiles are much better, and much cheaper than the 3200. They were handpicked by AMD as the best barton chips, and they work just like any other athlon xp; except the multiplier is unlocked which makes them easy to overclock.

This is the only place I can find that sells them (AMD stopped making the athlon xp a few months ago)-
