Hey, I was looking to see what I could expect from my new Opty 144 with 6800GT AGP and I saw that there is no Opteron processor type! HOW? Just wanted to know if any of you noticed that, and what it says when you try to test your system. I assume "Other/2900mhz" or something like that. Thanks

I'm pretty sure mine said Opteron 146 @ 3.1ghz for the short period of time that it was working on my RDX200. My LP UT Ultra-D is coming in today so hopefully I'll be able to get that up and I'll let you know what it shows up as if I can.

hmm, is that about average for a 146 overclock? I hear 144's hit 2.9 easy, but with the 146's extra multiplier I don't know how that would work out. Is it actually more capable? Oh and thanks for telling me dude

Yeah I got a 146 because I was worried the 9x multiplier might hinder my OC a little bit. So I got the 146. I was booting Windows at 3.2ghz but wasn't stable there so took it down to 3.1ghz and was stable. I don't know what kind of OCs I'll be able to get on this Ultra-D though. Probably pretty similar clocks but we'll see.

Alright thanks dude. I guess I don't have a choice now, the 144 is on it's way for me.
