- Added Harddisk Acoustic Management - yeah I know, not ATI related :)
- Improved artifact detection on X800
- Improved scanning on PS2.0 cards, you should get much higher temperatures now. Please verify that ATITool still works on non-ps2.0 cards.
- Revamped memory timings editor: added support for R300, R350, R360, R420, RV350, RV360, RV370, RV380, RV410
- Fixed RV410 detection and overclocking
- The clock rate input boxes now allow "," as decimal seperator, too

Seems to be ,the incorrect display of the MemTimings values are not fixed ...right??
Cause its wrong again in comparison with rabit1.5 orig Timings...with my x800 Timings :(

there is a small issue with the data file .. see r420 cas latency which has wrong options ..

i fixed the downloa above to have the right list entries for cas latency ..
also i verified the mem timings editor values and everything is correct .. rabit is wrong in this case ..

rabit1.5 wrong ? never seen this before..the displayed values shown of rabit are directly orig fom the Bios..so far i know ?? Also AtiTool show me with all tested x800 Bios versions the wrong values..other user report this too...
i will compare it again with fixed version...
Edit: not the same values....
example: Mem trcdrd =8 with rabit readings directly from XT500_500 Bios
and =7 in AtiTool
also latency readings an other values are completly different...also with other XT Bios...
Not one of several r420 XT Bios i compared has the MemTimings Values like AtiTool shows me.. Only the XT 526_573 has the 3 first values the same (7,4,5)
Please can somebody compare his values too? don't think I'm wrong cause AtiTool values was wrong before too...

example trcdrd (atitool data file):
3 clock=0x0
4 clocks=0x1
5 clocks=0x2
6 clocks=0x3
7 clocks=0x4
8 clocks=0x5
9 clocks=0x6
10 clocks=0x7
11 clocks=0x8
12 clocks=0x9
13 clocks=0xa
14 clocks=0xb
15 clocks=0xc
Reserved=0xd
Reserved=0xe
Reserved=0xf
the first is the displayed list entry and the second is the assigned value .. so both tools read the same value but have different data on how to interpret the numbers
the tables i'm using are based on data from ati so either ati is wrong or rabit is wrong .. up to you to decide
the timings in the bios are the same as the timings on your running system (well except when you change them)

click the harddisk in the list then the read button should be enabled...
i'll change it that the next version automatically selects the first harddisk

ok...so you can say its a question how to interpret these values...and atiTool and rabit interpret them in a different way but not really wrong...OK
Thank you...
For me it plays not an important role at all, i usually change no MemTimings...
The AAM doesn't work...read works, write button not..(no writing message on right?)..and i can't use the slider...

Here's a little bug -- if you try and resize the 3D window, then ATI Tool blows up.

thanks stephen .. next version will have no more window resize

Oh no! I actually resize the 3D window a lot, but then again maybe it doesn't matter...
One of the things I have been using ATI Tool for is to put maximum stress on my 9800XT and then watching it's impact on temperatures, voltages, and power consumption. I've alway assumed the a really big 3D window is more stressful than the little default window. Is this a correct assumption?
Thanks,
Steve

Ati tool 0.0.23 beta 3 doesn´t let me customise mem timmings in my 9700 mobility :(
It says card not suported.
But with 0.0.22 it works 100% ;)
