vpu recover on or off ?

:banghead: :banghead: i need help i o/c my x850 pe up to 589/629 but the vpu recover makes it difficult to run at these speed ? should i swith off the vpu recover in ATI catalyst ? if i switch it off the gpu temp is about 78°C full loaded , is too hot.
i dont care if my Cg is hurted, cuz ill change it every year! thx

so on or off when o/c 78 is too hot or can i go on ....

i would suggest putting some money into better cooling before running your graphics above 78 celsius....that's not meltdown hot, but it is definetly going to reduce the life of that card

If you switch off VPU recover then you will probably hang at those speeds eventually, I have VPU recover off and whenever I overclock with ATITool (max core) my computer just hangs/reboots once the card becomes unstable.
