Motherboard woe

I'm trying to repair an Advent 7004 laptop & the m/b is dead. It's an NB Mobo type motherboard, does any one know who makes these or who sells 'em. Although it could be a duff power invertor, so I need one of those too. Anyone got any ideas? :rolleyes:

I don't know if you've ever tried this but there should be a FCC ID on the Mother Board somewhere. If there is you can go to the FCC website and do a search on the number which will return the registering company and give you a good place to start.
