ATI Tool 0.25 (Beta) can not read a temperature from my ATI Mobility Radeon X800XT.
I have no clue how to find out if the card even has a temperature sensor.

Imaginary situation;
-my CPU has nothing to do & is not getting hot
-my GPU is very busy & getting hot

Will the fan start to cool the GPU?
I don't know and don't know how to test this.

I got a reply from the re-seller;

Yes, it has a sensor, but it’s just for the notebook to control its fans so and are not aware of a tool that can read it in Windows.

So why can't ATI Tool see my temps?

the seller may be unaware of AtiTool. He only says unaware, not that there is not a tool to do this

Indeed, and currently ATI tool can't read the temps because the program does not know where to look.

Maybe I can assist and run some kind of program to see where ATI tool can find the temperatures and fan settings?

(Re-sellers did supply a BIOS update the allows me to switch between Auto-fanspeed and Max-fanspeed with Fn+F2)
