You bring up a good point that people with these cards need to be nice and submit there BIOS dumps to the BIOS Collection here. I only see the one Sapphire BIOS currently.Do you have the first revision PCB? I know it was revised as the first ones werent handling higher speeds all to well
Edit:
ah Try HERE (http://www.mvktech.net/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,26/func,selectfolder/cat,13/page,2/)

Yep it had been reported on this site quite some time ago that it was possibly dangerous

it's only dangerous to the x1800xt's with only 5 power capacitors anything with 6 is fine and mine has 6 lol.

Well did that link have the BIOS you wanted? they had 2 but I cant look at em in RaBiT nor the ATIWinflash a friend with X1800 sent me
But I did look at versions and the Rev.01 looks like the original as I have the OC one and it matches Rev 02

I dont think that would be a good idea because i think the x1800xl uses 1.4ns ram rated to 1400 mhz.

The x1800xt uses 1.25ns gddr3 rated 800 mhz meaning 1600 mhz the x1800xl uses 1.4ns gddr3 rated for 700 mhz meaning 1400 mhz. My X1800XT can easily handle meaning 850 = 1700mhz on memory just like 7800 gtx 512 mb i used to beable to hit 1800mhz meaning 900 mhz memory, but now my xt wont do it for some reason maybe because of the 6.1 drivers.
