9800 pro memory incorrectly detected

I have an ATI branded 9800 pro with 128 meg ram. After installing AtiTool, 3dmark thinks I have 256 meg. I have uninstalled AtiTool, reinstalled the drivers, and reinstalled 3dmark, all to no avail. Any ideas or simular experiences? Thanks in advance

dont bother.its nothing.to me 3d mark shows that i have 10 mhz gpu speed..

Are you sure it's only 128MB? What does the sticker on the back of the card say, it should say 128MB or 256MB. Or it could be that card is flashed with a 256MB BIOS even though it's really only 128MB, in which case the person that had it before you screwed up.
