I need serious help asap..9600xt

Bought myself an ati96000xt and..I notice on cs my framerate has DROPPED. Anyhow, I've been doing some reading and all I keep hearing something about truform. I have the catalst drivers installed..brand new ones etc..and i've tried like crazy to fix this problem with changing settings etc...and so far nothing has worked. I haven't been able to find this "truform" setting everyones talking about anywhere in the opengl control panel program. I heard truform drops CS settings, and ATI decided to never call me back cause god hates me sooo =( anyhow..someone please tell me how do I turn this truform setting off?

I have an intel p4 3.0 I have myself a gig of memory and the new 9600xt

try looking around in the control center...
personally i cant find that option myself, but hey... who knows...

Truform is no longer present in the Cats, when you installed the 9600 did you fresh format? if not then did you run Drivercleaner and remove all traces of Nvidia drivers/reg entries etc? if not they arent going to play nice with the ATI drivers

yes clean format just installed xp this morning.

Are you running the CCC App pref then adjusting AA and AF etc in game?
