Hi,
I installed the ATITools yesterday, and I'm quite impressed by the features and ideas. I set "fan control" to a very quiet work, perfect. Much better than that huge TRIXX thingie which is worth nothing.
Then I flashed the "tweak bios" (http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/127/images/Sapphire.X800GTO2_16P.Samsung16.bin) to upgrade the GTO2 to a X850-like card. ATITool now sees 16 pixel shaders. So far so good. But now the "fan control" item does not appear in the combobox any more, and ATITool does not control the fans. Also the temperature is "0" all the time. Sigh. Seems like the BIOS does not offer the "feature".
Since quietness is better than speed for me: do I have to "downgrade", or can this be fixed in ATITool?
Version: 0.25 beta 13. I saved the old bios, so I can send you both if needed. The new one is also assumed to be a sapphire bios (according to the name), so this is astonishing for me.
