Hi
I'm new to OC.
My sys is

mobo: DFI Lanparty UT
CPU: AMD 64 3500 Venice
Ram: 2 Gb Kingston Dual Channel
Video: ATI Radeon X1800 xl
Hard disk: IDE

Yesterday night I've installed Systool and ran it:

Trying to find better performance it OCed cpu till pc restrted.
What Have I to do at this point?
Systool didn't restarted after windows launched normally.
But another program started ITE (smart shield): a software monitoring temp of my sys.
I disabled it because it ran my fans like hell forever (I think this software was with Systool? or with Nforce 4 drivers?)

Can you explain me the procedure to OC my sys? Or link me to a guide?

My cpu cooling sys is:

CNPS9500 LED

Optimized heatsink layout for maximum cooling efficiency with minimal materials.

like i said in my other post you can contact me if need be. my reccomendation is using the bois over clocking fuctions as those will be much more relible then the software counterparts. being that your board is a lanparty you should be able to overclock really well. all you have to do is enter your bois and start changing the FSB number. move it up by about 3 each time then once u reach sys instability (no post) reset the bois and go to a FSB slightly lower then what it was. then you can also play with the cpu multiplyer if you want to further your overclock. im an intel guy so amd guys should be able to provide more info.

Ok
I'll try to work on FSB (I see that it starts from 200. minimum and standard setting)
I'll try to rise it.
Have I to change also cpu volt and HTT to rise stability?
Or you think it's better to rise FSB as it is?

Can I use Systool to check stability by stress button?

Someone with same sys of mine could post good medium settings to test on my bios?

Thanks everybody for info and hints
