I have overclocked my x800gt to core 533.25 & mem 553.25, the card works great with no trouble, i have a zalman zm80d-hp noiseless cooler on it....has anybody got any suggestions on how to keep the core cooler as it sometimes reaches 70 deg c.....i know that its overclocked to the high end for this card but this is the only way i can get the best performance out of it for nfs-mw, quake4 & bf2

only to say make sure your fan is running full speed at anything over 60c..

Thanks for your reply but the zalman zm80d-hp with my setup has not got a fan, may be I will have to invest in the optional fan for this cooler.....or go to a more expensive GPU or watercooling

dont expect too much with passive cooling.and 70c are quite good with your Zalman.

there are stock passively cooled (out of the box) x800 boards out there that run over 90c.. he he..
70c isnt really too hot but any fan set up to blow air over it will brings the temps down if they bother u..

lol you dont even NEED the expensive stuff...just go buy a case fan and mod it right next to the card :D. THAT will bring your temps down! (and congratulations on such good results with a passive cooler)
