Amd stock fan

Hey i was wondering if an 80mm fan would fit on the stock amd heatsink for a socket 939 fan? I was going to lapp the heatsink. thanks

What fan are you getting to replace the stock fan? In my experience the stock fan on AMD processors is actually better than some of the ones you can buy.
