Hey folks! I've recently bought a C3D x1900xt and if i don't misstake i think ati tray tools and ati tools don't work with either the 1800xt and the x1900 series, but i'm not sure.
I guess some kind of oc application comes with the box.

And i gotta tell you that i managed to remove the IHS for the Amd opteron 146. So im pretty happy being the first time.

edit: Hmm. The last beta of ati tools should be able to oc the card, just checked up.

you will have to wait untill the tools get updated to sopport it, and even when they do, those cards are allready a bit on the overclocked side

There is no hardware that is limited to overclocking. As long as you have the appropriate cooling and experience with voltages and temps you can boost whatever to max. These r580 can go beyond 700/800 with regular cooling and a slight voltage adjustment from software. As far as i know either i'm doing something wrong with ATI TOOL BETA13 since there is already a fair amount of R580 owners out there using that tool to overclock over those frequencies i stated above with the voltage adjustements of the tool. I hope Catalyst 6.3 will give these cards a nice boost in performance as well. Good Luck!

Note:So far i've been using OVERDRIVE unlocked from the ccc which has been rumored to loosin timings which is a bad thing. You want tight timings for your memory (i.e. 2225 compared to 3448) for better performance...
