I took my computer downstairs over the weekend so I could use it while work was being done upstairs. I didn't take the monitor or the speakers just the computer. When I brought it back upstairs and booted it I no longer see any temperature numbers in the tray. If I click the unhide it isn't there. The only way I can see the program is if I go to the start menu. Does the new ATI drivers have anything to do with this? I have removed it in control panel and rebooted, then reinstalled the program. Still I no longer have any temperature numbers or icon. Is there something I can do that will make it return? As it is now I have no idea what the card is running at.
Well, it seems to me that unfortunately ATITool is unreliable.
Sometimes it detects the temp and fan sensors, sometimes not (yes, sometimes it even detects them here, it just started to do it, without any change of the system or the drivers), ...

*EDIT* I did get ATI Tool to work again. What I had to do was reinstall it and uninstall it this time removing all settings. After a reboot and a new install the temp numbers appreared like normal. I don't think there is a thing wrong with the program version .24. It has always worked for me until I moved my computer around.
