Who's ordering one? I think I'm going to get one for my x1800, I'm tired of the noise of the stock cooler. Besides the fact that I have 5 Tt Smart Fans and a Tornado fan, I turn them way way down when I'm not doing anything intensive. I'm thinking about maybe getting another VF-700-Cu isntead but I don't know. How about you guys?

im thinking about the vf700cu as well for my x1800xl, just because i can get it in stores. If i could get the accelero that easily i would have to think for a long time.

i have a VF700AlCu on my X800 gto^2, the only problem with it is that it feeds off a normal fan header, not the actuall card, so you lose the automatic fan control most cards bring today, but you do get a manual zalman fan regulator,

other then that, with stock cooler i could barley reach X850XT stock speeds, now im on X850XT PE and the card berly gets warm.

Is there an nVidia version, or they only fit Ati cards?cause my Tt Giant III doesn't cool my card that much (about ~10 celsius bellow stock cooler), and I still haven't decided if I'll order the Nv Silencer ver. 5, any help will be greatly appreciated :)

This new technology that Arctic Cooling has coming out this week is going to out perform the VF700Cu any day. The X1's are for nVIDIA and the X2's are for ATI? They are suppose to be around $33 dollars, which is a good one too. I might purchase one for my X1900XT not sure...here is a nice link to their site..

I think arctic cooling still makes a silencer for the 7800 series. Also, Zalman is coming out with a VF900, which should be compatible with the newest gen of cards..

Thanks for the info, the Accelero X1 is supposed to work with both 6800 and 7800 cards, but I cannot find I place that sells it yet...
Just one question, does this cooler have better performance than the NV Silencer, cause I read in some reviews that it produces very low noise levels, but for me cooling performance matters most than noise levels, does the fact that this cooler blows hot air back into the case (as opposed to out of the case in the Silencer series) end up reducing it's overall cooling performance when compared to the Silencer series?

Yeah, thanks, I noticed that too, I also noticed prices are not final, and you will be charged the price once they actually get the coolers on March 3.
Might as well wait for Newegg to get them (cheaper shipping costs you know) but thanks for the link anyway :)
