what do you guys make of the MSI K8N Neo Platinum?

hey guys, looking for a 754 motherboard to house my athalon 64, as the motherboard i have is a bit of a dubious one which i got in a bundle with the processor.

was lookign at the MSI K8N Neo Platinum, or the ASUS K8V SE Deluxe but am open to suggestions...


was just wondering if anyone had anythign to suggest to me, or anythign to say about the above choices, and which one might be better? obviously, one is nforce based the other VIA, but i don't knwo which is better out of these either!

another one i forgot to mention i looked at was the Asus K8N-E Deluxe nForce3...

any help on deciding what motherboard to go for would be much appreciated

I have a friend who has the msi neo platinum you bought and hes is very happy with it, he also does some overclocking with it and hasnt had any problems. so it seems to me you had made a good choice

I would go for DFI lanparty nf3 250 UT.

I got it for 4 days now. I can say only WOW to my DFI.
