ok i have a really rubish graphix card, NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 64mb and i want to make it better...
if i overclock it will it make it better or not?

Well, why don't you create a Sig then we'll talk. I'm sure your motherboard only supports AGP8X unless you have the ASRock Dual939-SATA2 then you can go both ways....AGP or PCI-E. I would get the X800GTO if your board supports PCI-E or go for the 7800GS for AGP boards...

Connect3D X800GTO PCI-E from newegg.com that can probably only be overclocked and not modded....here for $165....

Now here is a 7800GS AGP8X also from Newegg.com that can be overclocked and not modded here starts from $299 and goes up......

If his motherboard only supports AGP4X/8X then a 6800GS would be useless because he'll have to go out and buy another motherboard that would support PCI-E16x plus god knows what CPU/MEMORY he's running and if it's even 939pins..., HAHAHAHAHHA!
BTW, how poor are you, STREET RAT poor? j/k :)

Wouldnt bother. Go and get a new graphics card and youll see the improvements.!!
