I recently got a cheap ATI Radeon 9550 for my backup computer and installed it fine. Semmed to be workin great and was really pleased so i thought i would overclock it, and see what it could handle. Although when i use ATItool and go above it original 200Mhz to 213Mhz it see flicker and cause strange lines. If any one got any ideas please help and tell me what you use to overcock. Thanks ;D

well.. an overclocking tool just lets u increase your core and memory speeds.. it dont guarrantee things are gonna work properly at those speeds.. slowing things down to a point where things do work properly is the only answer.. u can set your speeds manually..

I wouldn't bother trying to overclock an ATI 9550, you won't see any performance gains what so ever and would probably be unstable as to what you have stated.

overclocking isnt a magic wand, most 9550 cards are made with low end memory and toy heatsinks, dont bother,
