So i just want to hear your thought about Intel, please stay on topic and don't make this a flaming war. Analyist are tricky they almost drive the market i n a way becuase people will go with there ideas. I am thinking about buying more of this stock at a low price and just watch in 5 months they will be soring. Its a gambile. Any way about goodle, they are switching over there 200,000 servers from Intel to AMD's Opterons  .... Well what do you guys think.

most folks still believe amd is just a budget alternative for folks who cant afford intel..

i posted a link to a super amd powerd gaming machine on a forum i use.. the most common comment was.. "for that kinda money you would at least expect an intel based system"..

intel are pretty safe for quiet some time.. old habits die hard and amd just could not meet the demand if a big time switch over started to take place..

i recon buying amd shares would make a better bet thow.. he he

if you're going to invest in processors...invest in intel and apple now (because of the new intel macs), and then wait until socket M2 comes out on AMD's end...then invest in AMD. socket M2 is going to be awesome...DDR2 800 (timings on DDR2 SUCK though  ). And if you're looking for more investment opportunitys, just keep an eye on the news here. For example. invest in a company when they unleash a cool new thing, sell when its the competitors turn. I may be a n00b about stocks, but I'm no n00b to tech trends. good luck!
oh yeah, and about my personal preferences between AMD and Intel...Intel has good cores going out now, their move to 65nm tech has really cooled their processors down. AMD is just chillling, waiting for the release of M2. Intel is going to have some time to shine over the next few years, so make sure you're careful about the right time to invest. Technically Intel owns the new "wi-max" standard that should have come out last year, and now release dates are unknown (to me anyways lol)

We'll call you UBER noob when it comes to stocks then.

Buy low, sell high is the ten foot tall version of successful stock trading.

If I was to follow your logic, I'd be buying high and selling low which is the opposite of what you want to do. :slap:
