Well those scores arent that impressive. Its seems that the X1900 can remain king.
However the 7900 GT score are impressive. If the card is properly priced to could be a big seller.

aaahhh... I've just noticed. The tests were done at 1280 X 1024 res. Default is 1024 x 768 (for 03 & 05).
So I wonder what the scores are like at default res.

I agree...these scores are not to be taken for granted...default benchies will be run at a different res. so no need to compare these with any other points...the cards should hit on thursday, and I for one will be one of the first to buy such a card. And yes I own ATI Hardware as well :)
And as Kenny said, keep it civilized!!! Thanx :)
cheers

Has anyone else noticed that those scores are very "rounded" (e.g. the 7900 GTX scores' are all rounded to the nearest hundred?). Real 3DMark scores don't look like that, which is why I think these might be fakes.
I'm gonna wait for the actual product to appear, and be tested by a more reputable source (like techPowerUp!) before I make any judgements and buying decisions.

granting that at 1280x1024 my x1800xt scores around 7K in 05 so those scores seem alright, but the 06 score would be run at default, that mean the 512mb 7800gtx is beating it?

heres an actual review it makes sense for the 7900gtx to only hit 5200 on a single core cpu in 06. I was thinking dual, though it does come off as an only slightly faster 512mb 7800gtx.
