Today AMD revealed a new processor family called Sempron. It's targeted at the "value-conscious buyers of desktop and notebook PCs" the AMD Press Release (http://www.amd.com/us-en/Corporate/VirtualPressRoom/0,,51_104_543~86164,00.html) states. This processor will ship in the second half of 2004. Information regarding socket type, voltages or wattage are not disclosed at the moment.
