I checked the contact of my CPU. It looked okay (maybe 90% of the pins made good contact) which I'm not too happy about.

Good call, I forgot about the P55A boards. I'm glad they're deciding to shy away from Foxconn.

Funny thing is I just got done with putting together my back up rig. While I was waiting for the traded mobo (my 780i for a DX38-BT) I ended up scooping an i860 and Paul's P55 mobo. So I'm really set for now and I might even unload my 790GX/X2 5600+ shortly if the wifey keeps bickering.
