bigger sig space.

currently the sig space is 500x100. im asking if this could be made bigger. say 500x150 . 100 is a little to narrow imo.

any one else want this?

I think thats a good size myself but then thats just my opinion.

i just find it hard to make a sig to fit in that space when its narrow....the space is wide enough but not high enough imo :)

The only things id liked changed with avvy sigs is animated avvy/sigs i no it wont happen but i can dream cant i and make it to were u cant change ur avvy ever. :D:D

Let's not overdo it ...

How about a trade off: instead of 500 by 150 how about 400 by 150? That's only 10000 pixels more then current.

I have no problem making any of my sigpics 500x100. Why should the size increase again?

It was increased before? Was unaware of this.

Question to W1zzard: how big of a hit was the change from the previous sig size to the current?

its just to narrow imo....its to squished...id like more freedom space to make a sig....many websites have bigger sig space and they run fine...


what about HTC idea of 400x150

or how about 500x130

Since when is TPU like other communities? IMO, I think its perfectly fine the way it is. But meh, to each his own I guess.

I have to agree with ya jr the size of the av sigs are perfect in my view.

I honestly don't have a problem, maybe another text line would be nice, but I'm not complaining.

Second, if you were gonna offer flash embeds, stipulate they have a play button..otherwise you get what I did over at another site...clashing sounds, and headaches..

It's far too squished for the current size and if i shorten it's width, you can't see it that well ...

With this example, my proposal looks better.

You have a point there: this site is VERY crowded, which is why i asked W1zzard that question in post #13.

If the hit was big with the transition, then i totally understand why not to increase otherwise, i don't see why not.

there wont be any server side load problem with any size of signature or other eye candy.

the problem is page loading times, the bigger sigs/avatars are the slower a page is to load.

maybe we could remove the
