If any of you are interested Rarlabs now has available a 64-bit version of their popular winrar. If interested here is the link, http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm. This is a beta and winrar is shareware.

I played with it a little yesterday but never really timed it. So far it has been stable like no file corruption.

Does the 64-bit version offer the 64-bit conversion methods now also?

Though I must ask why not just use 7zip? It has had a 64-bit version for a while now...

it is faster.. ran the built in benchmark on 32bit for 30 seconds, then the same on 64bit..
