HD5870 overclocking

Does anny one know some programs that work with HD5870 to overclock?
ccc wont let me go over 900mhz
ati tools, tray tools, amd gpu tools wont start, or dont work or a blank

MSi afterburner is supposed to work, but I updated to 10.3 drivers and it doesn't work at all. The settings just don't apply.

Afterburner should work. Dont know about 10.3 dont tried yet.

but my ASUS card OC nicely with AfterBurner.

10.2 and afterburner after you change the zero to a one in the .cfg file and it will clock as high as you want to go ,excellent on my sapphire hd5870

its in the .cfg file in afterburner, ,there should be alot posted about the little file mod to go past ccc clocks, just find the .cfg file I believe it is, open up windows explorer and find the msi afterburner program files and open that .cfg file in notepad and at the very bottom it will say something about overclocking ya da ya and change the zero to a one and save file and you should be good to go, I prolly didnt explain it the best so Iam sure you can find a better explination here someplace lol

at the bottom of the file it should say something about overclocking and there will be a zero beside it...change that zero to a one then save

are you running 10.2 or 10.3, because i think Ive heard that it wont stick with the 10.3 and I know for sure that 9.12 wouldnt stay for me as well
iam running 10.2 and works nice

I am trying out 10.3 because at stock speeds my HD 5870 CFX are getting better FPS in general.

To fix the issue with MSI Afterburner resetting the OC go to C:\Program Files(x86)\MSI Afterburner. Make sure you can view file extensions. Right click on MSIAfterburner.cfg and open with notepad. Now look for EnableUnofficialOverclocking = 0 and change the 0 to 1. That should stop it from resetting the OC value above 900Mhz.

you are right my furmark, 3d06, are both up as well
hey are you guys installing ati stream v2.10? I found it helped abit as well
but 10.3 are better for me than 10.2

ok found a new problem with msi afterburner
when i want to change voltage i cant get over 850 stock when i go + it goes back to 850 :S
im now at 941mhz gpu
