257.62? Are you sure? Try 257.21

Sorry, it was 257.21 that I tried as well. I have tried 258.96/257.21 with no luck. 190.62 worked but whenever I would disable/enable SLI EVGA Precision or any monitoring software will stop recognizing the card, and some apps would crash. So I can't keep those drivers.

On which drivers you have your system stable?

i hope you are doing a clean instal between driver instals, once the OS is corupted by a driver, its pretty much screwed.

thats my experiance, i would do a clean instal and instal the 257.21 drivers and keep it that way til we get a new hack for this, becasue after around 15 instals i cant get anything above 257.21 stable.

the reason i need it is because 257.21 does not support nvidia surround, so i need to wait for a new hack.

none really. The latest drivers work fine when I switch SLI on/off, but I have issues when gaming and SLI is enabled.

The 190 drivers I can game with SLI on just fine, but then when I switch SLI on/off the PC takes a crap, apps don't work right and monitoring software can't detect the card correctly.

When you say clean install, you mean of the drivers? If so, yes.

no of the OS, even using driver cleaner, isnt enough sometimes. once you have some drivers in there and try to downgrade/upgrade drivers, it can cause conflict.

my advise to save time would be to re instal OS and use 257.21 drivers

Make sure to use the .08 patch with 257.21 under x64 windows. The .07 works better with older drivers.

Yep, the .08 slipatch, I had problems with .07 and 257. There is no .08 for win7 32bit, so you have to be running x64.

I modded ForceWare 258.96 and got my system stable in SLI mode. Now i'll game a little to see to stability. If everything will be OK i'll post links to ForceWare to you to test it. It's needed to me know would you have it stable. And you will have it's ok, I'll take care of the patch. Who's first to test? (A long time ago Sveetsnelda said this way when hacked SLI in the first time :) )

EDIT ///

Was looking for 0.8b... this isn't a NEW patch, already had it installed ;) - btw...can I ask for link to xdev page everytime a file is mentioned ? I always forget, always have to seek etc...anibolik, put it in your sig for us all to see ?

I'll have a go with this 0.8b and modded 258.96. Don't expect too sober results, postitive or negative, since I've uncorked Laphroaig
and some Bishop's Fingers
to go with ;)
The record in gaming is abt 30mins w/o fail. You COULD go longer if you quit game after you FEEL the GPU probe (you get noticably lag, tiny freeze..this is when the seed is planted) and start game again. Well...Off I go !

for the record i have so far had heaven bench running for ten minutes, and now i am instaling batman arkham asylum.

this game was very problematic when i instaled it, we will see this time.

both times it would not recognise sli, and was very glitchy, with frezes and so on

ohh and all this is testing my Nvidia surround 5760 x 1200 set up

you've had some long runs with extreme monitor settings. I've had extreme problemes with multiple monitors (no REAL problems, but illogical in nvidia drivers/nvcpl) ... still no real WHQL in long time... the fat lady hasn't sung yet.
