Looking for a few things now. Will buy them off newegg if I can't find good deals used, but if anyone spots these things at a good price, toss up the link :)

790FX AM3 mobo, Videocard (something along hte lines of 4890, maybe 4870, mayve 4850x2 if price is right same with 4870x2, 280GTX, 285GTX, really anything powerful, not looking to go to ofar over $200 shipped). DDR3 RAM that can turn a pretty fast speed, can't think of anything else off the top of my head, maybe a killer deal on a 955 (gonna be going for a 965 unless theres a steal of a deal on a 955).

Also wouldn't mind CF deals, like maybe a pair of 4850's, 4770's, 4830's, or 4870's for a good price, also 9800GX2 comes to mind, but they are pretty rare.

I have the newer FX version of your board atm :p Looking ot move onto the new platform as I have about the best AM2+ hardware I could have, just no more growth unless I move up.

$66 - Athlon II X2 245, AM3 chip, free s/h.

I doubt you can get a Phenom II for that price upfront; IIRC someone was selling a Phenom II X2 in the Sale forum a month ago at ~$80-85, but it's closed now.

Todays search tip:

sometimes i find the best deals when i search for stuff i would never want or need.

try searching for something like ipod or zune, perhaps even car, dog, movie, or even non words like eee or pos.

be creative and see what you find.

i searched for zune and found some 2x2gb 1000mhz ddr2 for $24 shipped ;) :)
