I've been dying to find one of the 250mm case fans myself. I'm in the market for a full size case, but the Thermaltake Armour w/the 250mm fan doesn't quite fit my needs. I've been looking to get a CM Stacker 810, and I think 1 of the 250's would be a perfect compliment to it. Thermaltake originally estimated that July would be the release of the fans by themselves, but still no luck finding them.

120mm fans kick out more than enough airflow (average being around 103cfm) lol

103cfm in a 120mm? only if they sound like a jet taking of, my xl2 pumps out 52cfm each at 21dbs making a total of 104cfm

lmao. your kidding right? i have a 120mm fan running right now @ 90% thats kicking about 100cfm, my stock 6800gt fan is louder than that is and the fan on the gt is only a crappy 60mm fan lol

Mostly for the coverage area of the fan. I pretty much covers all the important bits of the mobo. Sure, a couple of 120's would work too, but the CM Stacker 810's side has just about the perfect sized hole for a 250. Not to mention, the cfm to db ratio is still gonna be better with the bigger fan.

they dont sell the 25cm fans anywhere, you can only find them when you purchase one of those cases with it.

You could check ebay for somebody who's stripped down the case for resale. dont expect to get the fan for cheap though, as that is a highly coveted fan.

Odd. They sell those fans on several places here in Sweden. You can always get an Aplus TwinEnginge if you want a case with nice airflow.

But I'm suspicious when it comes to those fans. They push tons of air around, but they take up huge space. And if you're a modder, once you modded that nice Stacker to make it fit there's no way back. Nah, I stick to 120mm.

quality 120mm fans that blow 110cfm at a low db are around 20bucks. the tornado is 20bucks, and with this you get a nice piece of steal :laugh:

Thanx for the tip KTR, but i'm sticking with my 250mm fan idea. The placement and integration into the CM Stacker 810 is what i'm after. I'm just convinced it's a perfect combo.
