HD4770 lower power consumption - RBE

Hi all.

I found, that HD5750 has lower power consumption in idle ( Clock info 01 )
than HD4770, thanks to lower GPU and DDR5 memory frequencies.

HD4770 - GPU:250 MHz \ DDR5: 800 MHz

HD5750 - GPU:157 MHz \ DDR5: 300 MHz

I tried to lower DDR5 frequency to 400 MHz in RBE, then flashed to graphics card, but there are white vertical stripes in Windows XP. I flashed original BIOS back, to be able normaly work in Windows. Can somebody help me, how to lower GPU and DDR5 frequencies correctly, without any artefacts? I don't know correct dividers for GPU and for memory for HD4770.

Thanks a lot for any advice.

You can't. The GDDR5 memory controller in the HD4000 series doesn't support it.

OK, but what a GPU frequency?
It is possible to lower it?

It is possible to lower it to around 150MHz. The memory clocks can't be modified without getting flickering or artifacts.

Don't think it will make any noticable difference, unless you can lower the voltage as well...

Minimum value for the voltage is 0.9000 V
