Hi i want to ask somethink. I've rated my new e5200 on win 7 and the rating is very low lower thant one core procesor why? Thx

It somehow reminds me of the overclocking old P4 3.0Ghz to 5.0Ghz liquid nitrogen experiment.

indeed very low, you are sure it isn't clocked back for some reason? my pentium D scores 4.9...even at stock the score should be way higher than mine.

I have it safely OCed to 3.6 on air. so even with the stock cooler you could probably hit 3 or 3.2.

I would only do that with stick volts aswell, the stock cooler isn't great.

That's not an excuse. In a case with proper airflow you can take an e5200 up to 3.5Ghz on stock cooling for 24.7.

@Vam

Try your luck @ clocking it to 333/1333fsb with multi of 9.5 or 10. Whichever nets you cooler temps.

Well the scores actually don't mean much at all to be honest.

As long as your happy with the performance that's the important thing.

If your not happy with performance buy an after market heatsink, one with heatpipes and you can easily run your chip at 3.2 , and if lots of tinkering 3.6+ is possible.
