OCZ Vendetta Exposed HDT CPU Cooler - Any Good?

Just ordered a "OCZ Vendetta Exposed HDT CPU Cooler" from ZipZoom about $22, and $7 A/R... saw some good reviews, anyone out there have one? Does it live up to the reivews?

System Specs

I had one sometime ago. I think for an intel rig it should work great but for my AMD rig I did not care for it just for one reason. I could only direct the air up or down...no front to back. I believe this is what affected my temps which was why I didn't have it long.

Well, I got it tried it and after wrestling getting it on the motherboard (it has the same nylon pins as the stock HS), had to use so much force that the motheboard was noticably WARPED - to the point that the heatsink at the edge of the VRM's were no longer touching! The backside of the motherboard behind the CPU looked like a BUBBLE!!! I immediately took it off.

Definitely a qaulity control issue. I'm going to put some shims where the retention bracket screws in to move the block up about 1/8" and see how it fits.

I'm not impressed, and I hope the MB isn't damaged.
