This is gonna be the new hit combining the three games in one movie atleast 2 for sure(sands of time,The Two Thrones) I mean those were one of the best story best games of thier time but now prince of persia is ruined with the new one on xbox or which ever platform.
The new game toatally sucks...
The movie although could use a better older actor rather than this one, looks like a way to young kid or someone featured in the previous games?
Overall its gonna be like playing all those cutsecnes of prince of persia games togather as a movie

I really admire Jake as an actor, but when I found out he was playing the role of the prince it just didn't seem right to me. There are tons of better people to choose from, but I guess in the end they wanted to go with acting skills vs Looks.

Anyways, Jake Gyllenhaal is so not getting over the Brokeback reputation. I'd much rather seen Orlando Bloom in that role.

i would cut this guy out and put in some on in 30s and give him kinda long hair cuz short hair makes people look younger, put slight beard and gaive them a tanned up person, the white guy just dosent fit the movie being in some desert and a a prince, need much tanned guy in there, someone with hard face and agrassive

wow that is ridiculous, i thought orlando bloom as well even before i watched it and read this thread. i think because he's played the LotR movies(fantasy) and as u said Kingdom of heaven(nobility/prince like role) which i think would give him great experience to have played this role. O n i watched kingdom of heaven just 2 days ago, one of my favorites. n yea i odn't think jake is a good fit for this just cause, well in all his movies he's never developed a dominant aggresive character n that's what this movie is or at least should be calling for.

i don't think the movie would actually call for him to be aggressive or dominant. playful, sarcastic and witty is what the new-style Prince is all about, although as the storyline in the games progressed he did become dark and brooding. meh, we'll see what happens.
