PCI Wireless G/N Adapter

Looking for a PCI wireless adapter that is compatible with both wireless N and G. Mom keeps complaining about how hideous things look when guests come over and see cables all over the floor/against the walls.

Keep in mind I'm using this for a router that's located less than 15 feet away so nothing fancy/too expensive!

I may need more than one so if you have two (or more) LMK!

Just to be clear. You want one that is PCI. So PCIe is a no go, right?

I can use one PCI-E adapter, I don't plan on doing Crossfire/SLI on my Gene II anyway. Do you have something I can steal from you sir?

Unfortunately, I do not have one to spare as I have sold the one I owned, but it is on sell for next to nothing.

Not the best, but provides enough to game very well and you are 10 ft. closer than the distance it was being used and 2 less walls between you and your router I am guessing.

P.S. Sorry, just noticed the WTB tag. I do apologize for posting when I wasn't selling.

Thanks a LOT for the link! I'm going to hop on that if nothing shows up here in 3 days or so, I'm not in a rush.

Unless you have a awesome internet connection, wireless G is all you need TBH. I have a Gigabyte Aircruiser wireless G with full size and low profile brackets I could sell you for $10 shipped. Great card but I don't use wireless except for spoofing.

The thing is my old Linksys wireless G adapter was not compatible with my Linksys N router so I'm trying to make sure it's compatible. I don't know how this compatibility stuff works so I'm just gonna play it safe, unless I'm told that a certain router is 100% compatible.

Oh and Daed you have a PM coming your way.

Any and all Wireless N Router should be able to connect to Wireless N/G/B at the least. Your wireless G adapter should work just fine. You may want to check the router to be sure you don't have it set to "N Only" network.

That's... interesting. I gotta check that out later today, right now I gotta dash!

No more adapters needed, I'm going to buy Daed's for one comp and see if I can get my old USB adapter to work for the other.
